The Gracious hospitality we have offered over the years has been invaluable to the experience the participants find when they attend.

We are forming a team of Covenanters who might have flexibility in weekly schedules to commit to one Monday morning every 5 or 6 weeks – depending upon how many volunteers sign on.  The time commitment is approximately 9:30 a.m. To 12:30 p.m. Monday mornings. There are a number of Monday holidays when there is no meal, and that is a schedule I can provide.

Are you someone with a flexible schedule? Maybe you don’t usually have a flexible schedule, but with summer approaching, you may have some time to offer in the summer months? Parents and children, teens who might need to fulfill volunteer hours for school credit? This continues to be a vital local mission for CCC, Let’s support it!

That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”  Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him.  A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped.  Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?”

 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm.

He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”

They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes.

It’s another way for us, (CCCer’s), pledgers and nonpledgers,
guests, visitors, kids, anyone, really to make a contribution to CCC.

Soon there will be a window display hanging here at CCC. Part of that display will have ideas to guide you to where you will have the opportunity to make a financial contribution. Sometimes we will have opportunities for prayer requests, sometimes opportunities for other Mission venues.

As time goes on and we learn where our needs are and where God directs us, we may have other ways displayed that will offer different opportunities to contribute to our life here at CCC, Jericho, Essex, Vermont & beyond.

So keep your eyes open for the soon-to-arrive “Window of Opportunity”!
