My name is Steve Anderson. I am the transitional pastor here at Covenant Community Church. My wife, Jo, and I arrived in mid-September and have been enjoying the change from mid-western to New England seasons. We came here by way of Illinois, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
We have three married children who have provided us with six of God’s greatest blessings who call us Grandma and Grandpa. These six, when we get the chance to visit with them, certainly keep us feeling young.
It is a great joy for me to be serving this congregation in Essex. I truly enjoy filling the role of pastor and all that goes with it.
Outside of this role, I enjoy riding my bikes, walking with Jo, reading, watching movies, especially the classics and even the occasional romance, photography, collecting old cameras, playing golf, hunting, fishing…Oh, how the list goes on.
I’d like to invite you to come and get to know the people who make Covenant Community Church what it really is: a “community living in covenant” with each other. We try to practice Radical Hospitality while building Sustainable Faith as we share Relentless Compassion with the world around us.
